Brandon and Blake Murphy grew up in what looked like the perfect middle class family; however looks can be deceiving.  The boys were constantly looking for a way out. Brandon chose the law Blake chose to use drugs as his way out. Blake became one of the biggest drug kingpins in the country.

Brandon is assigned by the DEA to assist a local investigation into Blake when it is decided that a beautiful young officer needs to go undercover to get close to Blake and his operation. Emma is battling her own demons adjusting to life as a single Mother and fighting emotionally and physically with an abusive ex husband who refuses to let her go.
